CCFF x Filmetry
FILMETRY: A Festival of Poetry and Film is an annual collaborative art-making endeavor that pairs filmmakers with poets to create exciting new pieces of work. This year’s theme was POETICS OF CINEMA. Pre-selected poems all engaged the concept of cinema in some way, and filmmakers were encouraged to create new work from them. The only rule is that filmmakers must include the text of the poem in full. Total runtime is about 40 minutes and a Q&A with filmmakers will follow the screening — and the top winners will be announced!
