Symphonic Cinema
The Capital City Film Festival in partnership with the Lansing Symphony Orchestra bring you:
Symphonic Cinema
presented by Liquid Web
Cinema was once considered the lowest form of entertainment. Then slowly, talented artisans crafted it into an empire. Today, we call them “The Movies,” but in the beginning, they were “The Flickers.”
Featuring highlights from the silent era’s most beloved films including Metropolis, Phantom of the Opera, The Tramp, Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde, Faust, Hunchback of Notre Dame, and more. The horror. The tragedy. The comedy. The spectacle. Join us for a symphonic and cinematic experience that’s anything but ordinary.
ONE NIGHT ONLY, the full Lansing Symphony Orchestra performs at the fifth annual Capital City Film Festival
Saturday, April 11, 2015 | 8:00pm | Lansing Center | FREE ADMISSION
