Best Mates is the story of a very strong long lasting male friendship and what happens to such an intense friendship when one party grows up and moves on. It’s about that one friend; the mate you love but can’t introduce to anyone, the mate you can’t explain to new friends, but you can’t ever lose. They are the ones with biggest hearts, the least foresight and a childlike nature that refuses to be tamed. That’s Hogan. Everyone has a Hogan, and everyone is someone else’s Hogan. The Hogans of this world are the rebalance, – get too big for your boots, too grown up, too serious and they will drag you giggling back into the muck.
