Romeo and Juliet?
Romeo and Juliet?, a tragicomic melodrama, presents the personal stories of its actors on the background of the inception of a modern retro-noir adaptation of a classical work. Individual images composed of separate footage, which precedes the shooting of the film itself, use the detailed view of the actors’ performance to shatter the illusion of a film as one of the beaux-arts. The visual conception resembles the classical film period and the emphasis put on shadow work and contrasting light illustrates the colourfulness of human character, which, unnoticed, crosses the line between one’s own characters and the prescribed ones.

Time Traveling Through Time
A wannabe film director becomes embroiled in a battle against the laws of time and space when his attempts to recreate the iconic black and white, photograph-only, time travel film, La Jetée, spiral out of control. Narrated by Julian Richings (The Witch; X-Men; The Umbrella Academy) and starring Skyler Caleb (The Office, Two and a Half Men). Meow!
Nothing Happened
When Sasha, a troubled 17-year-old college student, pays a surprise visit to her alcoholic musician grandfather, Desmond, the two spend the night out in the city drinking, under the pretense of reconnecting, while the real reason for Sasha’s visit remains hidden. Uncomfortable with Sasha’s teenage awkwardness and pulled by his alcohol addiction, Desmond hits on a waitress only a few years older than Sasha. As the trio goes clubbing and metaphorically dances around one another, sexual and behavioral norms bend, and the relationships develop in unexpected ways. This nocturnal short film highlights the momentary connections that people make, and explores the ambiguous role that sexuality plays in family dynamics.
