Wayne Szalinski is a twinkly post-whatever band from western Michigan. They use whirling guitar licks and bouncing bass lines to write fast-paced songs. Andy Milad’s throaty, fluttering vocals soar with Cedric Bixler Zavala-like tonality. Concise songwriting is the band’s forte, finding more satisfaction in a straight-forward product than one tainted by repetition.
