Poet in Residence

Each year, our poet-in-residence, Nancy DeJoy, curates a group of talented poets to view the films screened at the festival and compose original poems inspired by them. This year we’re excited to further integrate poetry into the attendee experience. The poets will be reading live at the film festival following the screening of their selected film. This format celebrates the intersection of visual storytelling and the art of poetry, offering a new and dynamic layer to the audience’s experience.
