Short Films from Iran
Bold cinematic visions and urgent storytelling from Iranian filmmakers. A panel discussion will follow this screening and with Iranian and Iranian-American film scholars Kaveh Askari, Ali Kheradmand, and Farzaneh Holasu. Dr. Askari is the director of the Film Studies program at Michigan State University; Ali and Farzaneh are both Ph.D. candidates at MSU in the Department of English working on Film Studies certificates. The panelists will provide perspective and context on the films in conversation.
