MSU Media Sandbox Showcase & Judging
FREE event! Nine short films on civil rights in America will be shown to a panel of judges as part of the 2014 Media Sandbox Creative Challenge. Inspired by the 60th anniversary of the Supreme Court’s decision in Brown v. Board of Education and the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington, these films will cover several aspects of civil rights, including women and LGBT.

Stealing Home
Director in attendance. To the City of Detroit, it's a nine-acre abandoned lot. But to generations of baseball fans, it still feels like home. After Tiger stadium was demolished in 2009, blight sprung up. A group of citizens took action - chopping down weeds, mowing the grass and lovingly maintaining the ball field.
