The Capital City Film Festival is a film industry showcase for independent artists, created by Lansing filmmakers and cinephiles. The festival celebrates and promotes filmmakers with an emphasis on Michigan-made, homegrown talent. CCFF exposes attendees to engaging films, conversations, documentaries and musical entertainment in a four-day festival taking place in venues across Lansing.
The inaugural Capital City Film Festival took place April 14-17, 2011 and the 2nd annual occurred April 12-15, 2012.
In its 3rd year, April 11-14, CCFF 2013 will showcase:
70 films of over 300 submissions
30 teams of amateur and student filmmakers in the Fortnight Film Contest
16 local, national and internationally-touring bands
in addition to engaging discussions with directors, editors and actors... and some stellar free parties, of course.
All for 50 bucks.
Be there. You deserve it!
